a study in colours and patterns

Within CHROMAGLYPH, mystic glyphs and elemental
colours interweave to create endless possibilities.

Those who master its patterns will discover layers of
strategy and hidden knowledge.

Components

Sixty six cards in total

Colours

Purple    Aqua    Emerald    Amber    Red

Glyphs

thru colour, these forms manifest
the patterns that bind all moduli

Setup

No more than five practitioners may share the wheel

The first sequence, practitioners mutually select a dealer to initiate patterns

For subsequent sequences, the practitioner with the lowest quotient introduces new order to the cards

Mix thoroughly where all can see

The practitioner with the highest sum may adjust the cut

The dealer distributes thirteen elements to each practitioner, then sets the remaining aside, face-down, unseen by all, and count toward no quotient

The holder of purple zil must declare its presence and
initiate the first circle in the sequence

If purple zil rests with the void, the dealer calls the wheel thru each colour — aqua zil, emerald zil, amber zil, red zil — the first claimed initiates the circle

If no zil answers, the wheel ascends to zila and the call repeats thru each colour, then zilor, then ter, and so on until an element is claimed

Playing the Game

A sequence reveals itself thru multiple circles. During each circle, practitioners take their twists playing moduli (valid card combinations).

When a circle begins, the first twist establishes form.
All subsequent moduli in that circle must match in form.

On your twist, you must either:

within these fourier patterns lies a perfect reflection
each form manifesting thru echoes of itself
each echo bringing truth into focus

Valid Moduli

Monad

formation of one

No element falls beneath the previous play's lowest glyph.

"SINGLE AMBER TER"

Dyad

formation of two

Same colour and same glyph (requires wild).

"RED STEL DYAD"

Triad

formation of three

Running Colours with Still Glyphs

Three sequential colours, maintaining formation.

"PURPLE TO EMERALD ZIL"

Zila Zil

Running Glyphs with Still Colours

Three sequential glyphs, same colour.

"RED LUNA TO STEL"

Stela Stel Lunor Luna Lun

Running Both Colours & Glyphs

Both colours and glyphs advance in sequence.

"AQUA TERA TO AMBER LUN"

Luna Lun Teror Tera Ter

Tetrad

formation of four

Cascade

Four sequential glyphs, four sequential colours.

"RED LUNA TO AQUA STELA"

Stelor Stela Stel Lunor Luna Lun

Running Colours with Still Glyphs

Four sequential colours, same glyph.

"PURPLE TO AMBER LUNA"

Lunor Luna Lun

Running Glyphs with Still Colours

Same colour, four sequential glyphs.

"AQUA LUNOR TO STELOR"

Stelor Stela Stel Lunor Luna

Pentad

formation of five

Still Colours

All five cards same colour, different glyphs.

"EMERALD LUN TO STELA"

Stelor Stela Stel Lunor Luna Lun Teror

Rainbow

Same glyph, all five colours.

"RAINBOW OF LUNA"

Lunor Luna Lun

Spectrum

Sequential colours, sequential glyphs.

"PURPLE ZIL TO RED TERA"

Teror Tera Ter Zilor Zila Zil

within these highest forms
all patterns complete their journey
each manifestation surrendering to the fractal

Circles & Sequences

A sequence consists of multiple circles. Each circle is a self-contained contest that ends when all practitioners pass following the most recent modulus, or when a natural red stelor is played.

When a Circle Ends

When a Sequence Ends

A sequence ends when a practitioner plays their final card.

Wild Manifestations

Previous weave: aqua triad of running glyphs

This weave: contains a wild

"AQUA TO AMBER LUNOR
MORPHING TO PURPLE STEL TO STELOR"

natural red stelor rule

wild as red stelor yields only to natural red stelor. natural red stelor ends the circle immediately. Victor collects dividend.

A Complete Sequence

Three practitioners — Kai, Sol, and Ren — sit down to play. The deck is shuffled and dealt: 13 elements each. The remaining 27 cards are set aside, face-down and unseen.

Circle Zila

purple zil rests with the void this sequence. The dealer calls the wheel.

CHROMAGLYPH rewards both tactical insight and social harmony
True mastery lies not just in knowing the patterns,
but in understanding how and when to reveal them

Practitioner Etiquette

Table Management

  • Arrange plays left-to-right
  • New plays manifest below previous
  • Maintain clear sight lines
  • Keep quotient face down yet visible

Declarations

  • Speak all plays with clarity
  • Declare colours and glyphs
  • State modulus form before playing
  • Voice withdrawals distinctly

Joining and Leaving

  • Join between sequences
  • Complete sequence before departing
  • Minimum two practitioners
  • Maximum five practitioners

Strategy

  • Watch for powerful manifestations
  • Sometimes withdrawal reveals strength
  • Observe which forms have been revealed
  • Respect is earned, not given

masters speak of deeper mysteries within these forms
tho such knowledge manifests only thru
practice and self discovery
