⚠️ WARNING: We don't collect your data!
This app has no analytics, no tracking, no data collection, and no ability to know you exist.
The Simple Truth
We don't collect your data because we don't care about your data and designed it so we have no way to get it.
Lumis Camera is architecturally incapable of collecting personal information because:
- Network used only for downloading calibration data (nothing uploaded)
- No analytics frameworks
- No crash reporting
- No user accounts
- No cloud storage
- No telemetry
- No tracking
- No third-party SDKs that phone home
What we do: Process camera sensor data locally on your device to create beautiful images. That's it! Oh, and we do access the network to retrieve colour calibration data when the user has a fancy calibrated smart target and wants to use it.
Data We Don't Have
Since we can't collect it, we don't have:
- Your photos
- Your location
- Your device information
- Your usage patterns
- Your camera settings preferences
- Your anything
Android Permissions
We only request permissions we actually need:
CAMERA - To access your camera (obviously)
WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE - (if approved) To save your images in a custom folder other than the default
INTERNET - Only to download colour calibration data when using smart targets
The network permission is strictly one-way: we download calibration profiles TO your device. We never upload, transmit, or send ANY data FROM your device.
Third Parties
There are no third parties. No Google Analytics, no Firebase, no ad networks, no nothing. Just you, your camera sensor, and pure stubbornness against auto modes.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever start collecting data (which would require a complete rewrite), we'll update this policy. Until then, use our app or don't - we'll never know the difference!
Your Rights
Since we don't have your data:
- We can't delete what we don't have
- We can't export what we don't collect
- We can't sell what doesn't exist
- We can't lose what we never stored
Bottom line: This is a local camera app that does camera things. No surveillance, no monetization of your privacy, no corporate data harvesting. Just delightful manual photography.
