Passless remote desktop
Your machines just show up • No password • No click-to-accept • No account
A fork of the open-source RustDesk remote desktop, rebuilt on the passless identity stack. Devices in your fleet verify each other against their own membership chain — the rendezvous server is demoted to dumb NAT plumbing with no say in who trusts whom. If you're logged in (Photon), your machines appear in the My Fleet tab and connecting is one click. Strangers still get stock RustDesk behavior.
Version: Release 24 (base 1.4.9) · Updated: 2026-07-27
Linux (x86_64) / macOS (Apple Silicon):
curl -sSfL https://brobdingnagian.holdmyoscilloscope.com/rustdesk/install-release.sh | sh
One line downloads a verified prebuilt binary, creates the app entry, and you're done. Windows and Intel macOS are coming. Mirror: GitHub releases.
macOS will ask you to grant Screen Recording and Accessibility on first use — that's the OS, not us. This machine is reachable by your fleet while the app is running.
